Glide Flourish session

ATTENTION.

Everything depends on it.

So it’s worth training. Glide is the gym for your attention. A few minutes, when it counts.

THE AGE OF DISTRACTION

It is harder to hold our attention now.

We spend half our lives
somewhere else.

The day fragments. So does our
experience of it.

NEARLY
47%

of waking life spent thinking about something other than what we are doing.

EVERY
3min

the average stretch of attention before something pulls us away.

ABOUT
22min

to find our way fully back, once we have been pulled away.

Distraction isn't a personal failing. The world is built to pull attention apart. Every feed, alert and notification competing for a sliver of it. Left to that pull, attention learns to jump and skim. It is being trained all day long, just not by you.

None of that is fixed. Attention can be trained by you.

WHAT IS GLIDE

Here’s where you train it.

attention noun

what you point your mind at.

From the Latin attendere, "to stretch towards."

Glide is the Attention Gym. Short, multisensory sessions, sight, sound and touch moving as one, that train the attention the moment asks for. A few minutes, and it's back in your hands.

HOW ATTENTION WORKS

Attention isn't one thing.

It helps to know what you’re training. You’ve felt three kinds.

Pulled attention.

A buzz. Your name across a room. It just happens. Nothing to train.

Pushed attention.

Forcing yourself to focus. Works for a while. Then slips.

Effortless attention.

Absorbed. Steady. Unforced. Athletes call it being in the zone.

Glide trains effortless attention.

The same few minutes, wherever you are.

BUILT ON EVIDENCE

Built on evidence, not opinion.

Glide is being developed through an ongoing research programme. We bring together neuroscience, behavioural science and feedback from GB elite athletes, alongside measurement tools such as EEG, validated psychological measures, attention tasks and qualitative interviews, to understand how attention is trained and how people regulate stress and recovery under pressure.

Glide has been developed and tested with a GB women's hockey squad, including through the 2025 EuroHockey Championships.

Once the findings are peer-reviewed and published, we'll share them here.

READY TO BEGIN

Be ready, when it matters.

Glide opens August 2026. Join the list and be there from day one.
